Clay is a full time teacher at Sisters Elementary in Sisters, Oregon. He has been painting for the past seven years and made his work available to the public in 2005. His work is inspired by the natural world, the mixing of color, and basic design. His pieces are a reflection of the connection he has with children. His own two children and the students he works with are the driving force in his ability to create fun images that are designed to make you smile. Clay's work was part of the Bend Art Hopp (April 2007 at the Urban Beauty Bar) and he has been involved in the My Own Two Hands project for the past three years. His most recent work entitled "Growing Up" helped raise $1,700 for the Americana Project. He has displayed his work locally at Navigator News, Angeline's Bakery, and The Garden of Eden.
